Additional Kreg K2 Jig 3/8-Inch-Pocket Hole Jig Information

Kreg jigs make pocket hole screw assembly so easy to do that in many cases you can complete a project's glue-up without ever picking up a bar clamp. Not only do screws add great strength to the joint; they also serve as high-pressure clamps while your glue sets--clamps which don't cost much, don't weigh much, and don't have to be removed when the glue is dry. Kreg's K2 Jig is a stout aluminum fixture with twin drill guides and a built-in toggle clamp for instant control over stock up to 1-1/8" thick. The K2 Jig includes a 3/8" step drill with stop collar. Highland Hardware offers a complete range of accessories for pocket hole assembly, from a variety of screws to extra or larger face clamps to glue in solid wood plugs in a variety of species. Kreg's drill-point self-tapping screws simply eliminate the need for pilot holes in the mating piece, so assembly is very pleasantly fast.

What Customers Say About Kreg K2 Jig 3/8-Inch-Pocket Hole Jig:

The Woodstock is in the garbage and I'm ordering a Kreg.Update. Used it this morning and it cut such sloppy holes that I called a friend who had raved about his Kreg jig and asked if I could borrow it for the day. I also build built in bookcases, fireplace mantels, mud room lockers and cabinets from time to time.I bought a Woodstock pocket hole jig about 10 years ago. In fact it was a little hard to square up the carcass it was so rigid.

The results where marginal at best. I am a professional trim carpenter and kitchen cabinet installer. I have had the Kreg for a couple days and I just built a cabinet today with it. In fact if you will be doing big projects get 2 of each, they really speed things up.I can't remember the last tool I was so excited about. I used the Kreg today and it is superior in every way.

I didn't use a single nail and this sucker is strong. Very well made, in the USA. I was never all that impressed. Having the built in clamp allows you to work very fast. Easy to set up and use.

It cut perfect holes and the joints are very tight. I also bought the face clamp and right angle clamp, both worked very well and I would recommend them both. This thing should hold up to daily use.

my experiance with this purchase was has been awesome.I received it when told and product is in listed condition.I would have no problem doing buisness with all involved in the future Thanks W. Walton

This is meant for bench mounting work, where you pieces can be put into position and then drilled. Although not intended for this use, the drill guide section can be removed for portable use, but you will need to devise a clamping system to drill the workpiece. Highly recommended.

I order the 35mm Kreg K2 pockethole jig and have used it several times. When it comes to building furniture, I'm a beginner at best. I love it. I often help a friend of mine in his wood shop in order to learn as much as possible. Over vacation, he was showing me his pockethole jig and showed me how easy it was to use as well as how stable of a joint it created. It is easy to use and adjust. A must buy that even inexperienced woodmakers should consider.

I use this tool in my professional cabinet shop. It is durable, accurate and simple. The pocket holes it produce are strong and expedient alternatives to the floating tenons and dowels we previously used.
